Thursday 16.10.2014 Dhampus to Kande and back to Pokhara Lakeside

Thursday morning was completely clear and we could admire the whole range of Annapurna rising over 8000 metres, as well as Machhapuchhare from the rooftop of our lodge, while eating our breakfast there. The view from Dhampus is magnificent!

Our lodge in Dhampus Hotel Panorama Point was certainly worth its name!

Let the pictures tell the rest...

Our trek continued first up towards the Australian Camp and descended then down to Kumde by the road. The highest point in our trail was approximately 2080 metres and total amount of ukalo (uphill) exceeded 1000 metres.

The only inconvenience was that the rain had attracted quite many leeches to the trail and we got some itching bites, as you don't even notice when leeches easily penetrate your socks...

You meet many kinds of beauties along the trail...
